The Salute, Base Camp, Aylesford

My first full week back at work and I was strangely exhausted last night even though work wasn't very busy. In fact, on a couple of days I had very little to do (even though I was supposed to be on a deadline) and was bored stiff. When it's that slow work wise time moves at a glacial pace and the days seem so much longer. To keep me going I made sure to put some music on, so I had Talking Heads and Blondie at full volume!
I think next week is going to be completely different - I've been told to expect ninety paintings to come in, all which must be photographed urgently, so it will be a complete switch around.
Today's shot was taken in the British Legion Village just a couple of minutes from where I live. Base Camp is the rather appropriate name of the cafe in the grounds. Unfortunately, they've shortened the opening hours so it's no longer open at the weekends, which is a shame.
