Christmas bicycle tree

I spent lunchtime on the Southbank and puzzled over this tree. There are two bicycles at its base and a big handle that you can turn. I've since looked it up and the tree's lights are lit by pedal power! Here's the link. If I have any energy next week, I'll give it a go.
