Derelict Sunday
After enjoying a very tasty Malaysian lamb casserole in The Clachan with friend Alison at lunchtime, I decided to walk some of it off and find a blip at the same time up the old Gartmore road.
Like a lot of the dry stane dykes in these parts, this wall is very old, covered in moss and, to put it mildly, has seen better days - ideal for Derelict Sunday. Shame there wasn't some sunshine to go with it.
As usual when I'm in Drymen, I bumped into a few acquaintances and stopped for a chat and a catch-up, which is always nice. Now I'm back home and won't need more than a bowl of soup to keep me going.
I'll try not to binge on the box of Thornton's brazil nut toffee, like last night...
