You're not working hard enough

Orton Market was smaller than usual and some of the usual stalls were missing, but there were quite a few people wandering about. We haven't made it here for a while but when we do we like to buy vegetables from the guy at the end, as they are good and he is always having a chat with people. 

Today he was telling us how he would be much happier, and warmer, in the field cutting cabbages, than he was standing behind the stall getting cold. He then told a tale about when he was a boy and complained of being cold - "You're not working hard enough" said his dad. Now his dad is quite elderly and doesn't do a lot, but if he complains of being cold guess what his son says!
