My dad has ruined me!

Most people encountering this pile of stuff would label it "junk" and find a convenient skip to chuck it in. I see a veritable treasure trove of bits and pieces that just might come in handy some time in the next ten years.

My dad has taught many things to many people over his lifetime (and will hopefully continue to for many years to come) but I think this is possibly the least useful lesson. Oh how I wish I could just bin the lot without feeling guilty for not sorting out each spare screw or bit of wire and saving them for that future need!
