Not Quite Ready

I thought my Amaryllis would be open in time for Flower Friday today but it's really taking its time.  I took several shots and they were all boring so I decided to use the fireplace as a background.  I'm not sure I like it but it's all I've got and it's getting late.  Many thanks to BikerBear for hosting! xx

I am grateful for the nice dinner and conversation I had with one of my dear friends tonight.  We only live a few miles apart but it had been months since we had gotten together.  We aren't going to let that much time pass between visits again!
