BYE BURT

Went to
Pay my respects to Bert Shipman today who passed away just before Christmas, his wife was Dearests best friend up to her passing about ten years ago. The Crematorium was packed with the cream of 1960/70’s Stock Car racers, Burt had reached the world finals four times, never quite took the title but was respected by all for his engineering skills and fearless driving.
