Scalloway Fire Festival 2019

A calm day, but rained all morning.  Cleared up in the afternoon, with some sunshine.  A fine night, but rain due.

I took today off work, and up early to see the Scalloway Jarl Squad walk in over the village.  The rest of the morning was quiet, and then finished off the final bits for our act tonight.  Met up with the squad boys tonight, six halls to visit and hopefully entertain the crowds.

The big day finally arrived, and the Jarl Squad looked great. As the procession commenced, the village soon lit up with a golden glow with fire torches.  These are the torches we made at tail end of last year.  Great to see our hard work come alive.  Here's hoping we have a great night ahead.  Taken on Lovers Loan, Scalloway.
