Boxing Day walk

Back blipping my way out into the new year.

Boxing Day - I drove out of town until I could see some light and stopped at Birch Vale and started to climb the Lantern Pike using the Pennine Bridleway only to find I was heading into the gloom and not out of it so as I met the minor road from Hayfield to Thornsett I turned West into the brightness and completed a circular walk back at the car just as the last fences on the King George were on the radio - I thought of Desert Orchid and brighter days.
