Bowie remembered

The 02 Academy in Glasgow was packed for the Bowie Alumni tour. Pianist Mike Garson was the defacto leader with Bowie guitarists Gerry Leonard, Mark Plati and Carmine Rojas adding an authentic sound. Sadly Earl Slick was ill and couldn't make it. Corey Glover of Living Colour, along with Bernard Fowler and Joe Sumner rotated on vocals. Earl's son Lee John was on drums. Aladdin Sane with Garson's epic piano solo was a highlight, even if Corey did keep an iPad close to hand as an aide memoire for the lyrics.
