Out........................ Like a Lion!

The news we expected but dreaded this morning as Sir Andy Murray announced his plans to retire from tennis. 

For many of us it’ll feel like we’ve grown up with him over the years as we’ve tagged along for the ride on his amazing sporting journey to become arguably Scotland's greatest sportsman..
 
From a gangly ,moody teenager to Knight of the Realm and an ambassador for his wee country on and off the court.

From the tennis courts of Dunblane to US Open Champion, Wimbledon Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist.

From Scottish, to British, back to Scottish, back to British (performance dependent).
 
But he’s not done quite yet and we know he’ll go out fighting all the way.
 
Enjoy your retirement Sir Andy, your wee country’s awfy proud of you
