Big Machine

I'm not entirely sure what it is but I suspect it may be the winding gear for ships anchors. Some of you may remember that I have in the past blipped the old lightship which was moored here in Arklow. Well some time ago the light itself was removed and I am told has been erected safely elsewhere in the town. No sooner was that done than the workmen descended on the ship and began to dismantle it. I haven't been able to blip any of this as the site was cordoned off under health and safety regulations.
This morning I noticed that the fencing was gone so I went to take a look. Now the ship too is gone. Vanished off the face of the waves. All that remains is this. I can't quite figure it but it looks like anchor winding gear. Whatever, it's a big machine, as big as two good sized cars with two more sitting on top. I wonder what's going to become of it.
