Christmas angels

My favourite lights in Funchal are those near the Se, the beautiful cathedral. This year they again have lovely angels.

The main switch on is Saturday but they have quite a few in readiness and I went down to the centre after dark.

Lights are quite tricky to photograph (and I didn't bring my tripod) but there was a lovely atmosphere. We've had a spot of rain and significant wind today but all that pales into insignificance compared with what was happening back home. Stay safe on the ice and snow all of you.
