Waiting

This was me, waiting for my appointment. I am on a trial, to ascertain if daily aspirin can prevent recurrance of early breast cancer. Just my luck if it is effective, but I get the placebo. I ll get regularly monitored so worth it, and it's my way of paying it forward.
This was the only picture I took today. I was hot because the chemotherapy day unit is on the fifth floor and I have made a point of always taking the stairs. Some days I could hardly speak at the top. Sure it's one of the many reasons I stayed relatively fit despite the treatments. Herceptin and zolodex today ( both injections, one horrible because it's a large amount injected into the thigh, the other because it's a mahoosive needle into the belly. I congratulated my nurse on her bravery!
