School Outing
Doubtless a small class of girls (perhaps 9-11), holding hands and led by two teachers (the one in front is out of sight). We're at the Place de l'Abbé-Georges-Hénocque, a circular square at the foot of our street. The group had just passed after coming around a corner. Such groups (usually larger) often pass along our street--we usually can hear them. Marylee and I were just returning from a too brief visit to an exhibition of photographs by Sebastian Copeland entitled "From Pole to Pole: A Vanishing World," on the fence of the Jardin du Luxembourg. It was around 6˚ C (42˚ F)--a damp, biting cold that was too much for us; we'll return tomorrow more warmly dressed (more then :).
