Glaciarium ice skating rink - Sydney 1952

When I was a kid, Mum used to sometimes leave me at the Glaciarium to watch the skating.  Sometimes there was enough money to hire a pair of skates and have a go but the rest of the time I enjoyed just watching and sketching.  One time some young professionals (with white boots) took me by the hands out to the middle of the rink where we circled around.  It was like flying!
