A grand meal out!

Friends C and G came to visit today and we took them to a local pub for a meal. We knew that C has a very healthy appetite and could possibly do justice to the large fish and chips that F and I managed to fail to finish here.

Comparing the two pieces of fish I think that this one is a little smaller but even so he finished it all in style followed by a hefty portion of bread and butter pudding and two pints of beer. 

We went back to F's house and as we were sitting chatting the phone rang and it was F's daughter and son-in-law about to call in on their way home from holiday in Snowdonia.  It was lovely to see them and as his daughter has known C and G for most of her life it was great timing to have a big catch up.
