Working

Another shot from the Cooriedog walk.  They have started to plough an adjacent field which seems a most appropriate thing to do at this time of year.
It made me think about work.  I always find it difficult to answer questions about whether I miss working.  If I did miss it then I should make good the deficit by going back to it.  That's not going to happen.  Work did satisfy a need for structure, a sense of value, social interaction, a feeling of making a contribution to something....and the salary was handy.
I suppose since I have retired, I have been trying to meet those needs in other ways.  And, generally, I am in charge.
