Front garden
Thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday on my 4 year blip anniversary. How quickly those four years have whizzed by and I'm so glad to have a record of them. Thank you also for all the encouragement, friendship, hearts and stars along the way.
Yesterday's blip was of my bathroom window. At the moment this is what it looks upon. It looks like Armageddon or an archaeological dig. It's actually the remains of the grass 'lawn' which is being dug up so that we can plant a wildlife-friendly, low-maintenance, low-growing, wildflower 'lawn'. The seeds can't be planted yet but the ground needs to be prepared. It should be an ideal spot because it's a sunny patch with poor soil and little foot traffic. It's a local talking point at the minute. The turf has gone onto Freegle and someone's coming with a truck to take it away later today. A neighbour who is in the local Transition Group is bringing a sturdy wheelbarrow to take some too. Hope it works as planned.
Yoga last night and I'm feeling it today after a couple of weeks away from the stretches. Friends round tonight so I need to do a bit of tidying up before they arrive.
