Revisionist Christmas

Given that I am an avid reader and try to make time everyday for at least a little of that activity I was suddenly conscious this evening of how rarely I have blipped anything to do with books.

The thought was also prompted by this which I am hugely enjoying but which challenges everything we all think we know about Christmas and the origins of how we as a culture celebrate it.

I wont give the game entirely away, but the myth of a pristine past is strong , yet a myth none the less.
