The Elvis Express

Took myself into Central to check out the annual madness that precedes the Elvis Festival at Parkes, which is a small town in western NSW.
This is the 27th year, and the fortunes of the town have been turned around.
Before the Elvis Express leaves the station several impersonators strut their stuff,  and crowds of bewigged, besequinned and beskirted dance, sing and generally enjoy themselves.
Of course, all these exhibitionists love having their photos taken,  and I was very happy to oblige, along with about 200 other photographers:)

Thanks so much for your response to yesterday's blip.
I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to thank you individually.
