‘Lines’ and Grounds for a Divorce

Yesterday we finally assembled the Argos CD unit. 5 hours including a lunch break, and a near divorce. Simple pigeon hole unit, no doors. Detailed but misleading instructions. Mr B insisted he knew better than the instructions resulting in some tense moments. It’s now hidden behind the bedroom door stuffed with scarves, gloves and other paraphernalia.

We then escaped for a late afternoon walk. Another gorgeous sunset (see extras). Then through the Arcade where Karen Millen’s windows provided my Abstract View (thanks Ingeborg for hosting). The Sale ‘Lines’ reflected as jagged ‘Lines’ in the window’s side mirror.

Ended up in Ponti’s for Lemon Tea where we knew a couple of customers. Chats with a tennis club friend, and 2 Italian young ladies, one a friend of a friend, originally from the Gargano region (owns 2 Airbnbs here), the other from Modena (shortly to marry a local man and will move here permanently).

Update 17:20
Gave the car some fresh air. We drove to Milford on Sea (36mn drive). Walked est. 4 km from the centre of town, through a quiet lane, to the seafront and then back again. Found a couple of new places in Milford and enjoyed a flat white. Now home
