5x5 complete

About a week ago I started working on my Christmas present from my son: a 5x5 Rubik's cube.

After a few days I was feeling somewhat accomplished, having got all the centre-y bits and most of the side cubies sorted.

For the last few days I've been really stuck, with some inverted side cubies determinedly resisting my efforts at un-inverting them. Tonight, however, I managed to find a way to get the right bits, the right way up, next to the other right bits, also the right way up.

Completed!!

A bit most chuffed.
