An Elegant Curve

Another in a long line of sea days.  This is the curved railing on deck 12, overlooking the pool deck.  We had lunch on the pool deck this afternoon, and I liked that elegant arc against the blue sky.  The featured lunch today was an Australian Barbecue, giving passengers an opportunity to sample things like kangaroo, crocodile, and emu.  (I stuck with a turkey burger!). Decorating the buffet were signs with Aussie words and phrases — some of them new to me.  Among them were:  “Hit the Turps” — to go on a drinking binge, “Big Mobs” — loads, a lot of, “Rack Off” — get lost! “Ridgy-Didge” — original, genuine, and “Not Within Cooee” — figuratively a long way away.
