Thankful

I got to meet my best friend from college today - over 32 years since wed seen each other last! I’m so grateful to God for friendships that stand the rest of time and distance!

But I was too busy talking to think about taking any pictures.

The sunset this evening gave the sky a gorgeous look of gold and pink - the clouds looked like feathers painted in the sky. I do wanted a photo, but I was driving home. By the time I got home I’d just missed capturing the beauty by minutes. I guess I should have just pulled over and used my phone.

So, here I am at bedtime and looking at the pull chains on the ceiling fan at least gave me a blip. These are a cute idea - I always get mixed up which one to pull for the fan and which for the light! Not any more!!
