Scenes around Saintes

I dropped Mr F at his AVF lesson in Saintes, and took Elvis for a walk getting him used to traffic and people as he doesn't see too much of either, living as we do out in the muddy countryside!
Then Elvis had a little snooze in the car while I had a quick look at the first day of the sales, before we picked Mr F up and gave one of his students (aged 86) a lift home.
The photos show the car park where I was, the old hospital can be seen at the top of the hill, a street near the Mairie, and the river Charente.
