Half way ......

...... to being a gorgeous fully fledged Swan and the last of the 6 cygnets hatched earlier this year.

A very frosty start gave way to a lovely sunny day but by the time I got out for a walk by the canal the sun was sinking low and it got really cold again. Cob and Pen Swan, their one remaining offspring, the resident Muscovy and lots of Mallard were pleased to see me and were grateful I brought them some corn.

There were a few scuffles between the Mallard Drakes so I'll give this a tag of WildWed.  Thanks to Cailleach for hosting.
