30 hour longcase

I had to cover in the shop today which gave me the opportunity to finish the two clocks I had started yesterday. Another interesting mechanism came in during the day. It is a simple chain driven 30 hour long case clock but is 220 years old and just needs a service. I wonder if any of our domestic machines today will still be working in two hundred years time.
