A bit of garden colour.

Not as much brightness today but there was a bit and I managed to get a picture of this witch hazel (Hamamelis) whilst the sun was shining.

It’s always good to get this colour so early in the year but sadly there isn’t a sign of a flower on the red one which usually flowers first.

I was worried about it at the end of the summer two years ago but it came back last year, looks as though it might have had it.

Pilates this afternoon, first time since November because of building work in the church. No doubt I will ache tomorrow!
Bitingly cold out there now the light has gone, notably slightly later than before Christmas.
