City Life

This was the view from the meeting room in Selly Oak where I was leading a Dementia Friends Session.  Great view!  But so much STUFF!  Wires, buildings, vehicles... STUFF. Cities are like that.  I always love shots of the University Clock Tower.  There's some interesting architecture round there.  Well worth visiting.

We had our first fail on the finding sculpture front today.  We went to Cape Hill which is part of Smethwick and could find neither of the sculptures we were looking for.  They were installed in the 1990s and appear not to have stood the test of time!  Unless someone else can tell me where "The Busker" and the "Scrap Metal Fountain" have gone to...
