Wild Flowers

We both went for a "baldies" early this morning, 9am being our appointment. 
A walk followed, walking the South Beach and around the wharf - it got very hot and humid, walking for an hour.
The shoreline is totally smothered with all sorts of wild flowers, I've never seen them looking so good.  I guess all the rain we had in November and December helped, then the hot days since Christmas.
I've chosen an overview photo, so much more clarity (and sharper) against black in large if you have the time.  Why does that happen?

I've put the pink mini in extra....spied him while we were shopping, this taken through our car window.  Loved seeing the old trunk on top, looks as if he is travelling (or shifting).  As he drove off I noticed he had a dog on his knee.  I thought the sign on the door was Tuscany, but nothing quite so exotic it turns out to be Tuesday.
