Boulders

We came over a small rise in the road and were suddenly in the midst of a huge field of giant boulders.  It only lasted for a few miles and we didn't get all the pictures we wanted but the experience was almost religious.  
We were, for a few miles, transported back in time and space to Saturday mornings watching westerns on a black and white TV screen.
