Setting off to cross the Pennines to the North East, where some tricky weather was experienced yesterday, might seem like madness, but that's what we did. We drove through snow showers, sleet and rain, but nothing too severe, and here we are in Whitley Bay, home of several other fine Blippers.

We are here for yet another concert this evening, and a last minute decision to stay the night, rather than risk a long trip home in dark and freezing temperatures, has given us a room with a sea view.

A quick blip from the shoreline, as the light was fading very quickly, is my offering in haste before we set out again.

I wonder what dramas in the village I have missed today!!
