Artistic Sky

The sky was magnificent this morning, the wind high up blowing the clouds towards the house and fragmenting in an artistic way. Only ruined by the plane trails!!!

I had a lovely afternoon meeting up with a friend (I taught two of her children a few years ago) and catching up with all that's been happening to them.

Then this evening it was Camera club - a practical night - when we were getting members to experiment with the different elements that make up exposure and what they can do in camera to influence the outcome. It was jolly hard work helping and explaining things and just shows how many people just don't know their cameras well enough. Members seemed very happy with what they had achieved although we did explain that the aim was not to create spectacular images but rather to learn what they need to do leading towards spectacular images.
