January bee

A beautiful sunny day with blue skies. I managed to spot the woodpecker today, same tree but I caught a flash of red this time and watched it drumming.

When I passed the fallen tree with the bees nest, the bees were surprisingly active. Several of them were out foraging but they were a bit slower than usual which made them easier to photograph.

Quiet afternoon as my boss is still off sick. Left on time so I could get back for Pilates and spinning at the gym.

Still sewing in ends on my latest Crochet blanket. Nearly done, thank goodness.
