Spinning mules

The BPWs did something different today, a visit to the Industrial Museum at Armley Mills. We've walked past on the canal towpath a few times and each time have said - that looks a good place to visit. So today we did! Lots of machines and information from the heyday of the woollen and tailoring industry. The spinning mules date from 1871 and 1904.
After the museum visit we reverted to type and walked into Leeds along the canal and partook of refreshments before catching a couple of buses to get us back home!
