The day started early, I took Lesley to hospital to register at 7am for a minor op as a day patient. It involved a general anaesthetic so she will need a day or two of close care and hopefully just a couple of weeks for a full recovery. After I left her it seemed an ideal opportunity to go up to Carsington, the local reservoir, to watch the sun come up.
She was discharged early afternoon and everything is well.
Roles reversed for the next few days, good job I'm retired :-)
