Tidal surge

High tide tonight at 19:40 GMT with a vigorous wind, the waves are breaking over the sea wall and you can see the warning post (number 4) at the submerged end of one of the sea defences. A view at low tide is here:

A few miles away the tide is damaging cliffs causing them to crumble and buildings nearby threatened.
