Hairy Stereum

This Hairy Stereum (hairy curtain crust) fungus growing on some felled timber has itself been colonised by another fungus of some kind. It reminded me of the lines:  Great fleas have little fleas upon their back to bite them
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum
