'Ere we are again

Back at my regular spot outside St Clement's Church. I should have finished at the end of last term when the patroller I was assisting retired. Apparently if a relief is left on site people are less likely to apply for the position as they think I might just as well carry on. But they've had several applications and someone should be in post by half term. So I've been asked to carry on and do as many shifts as I can till the newbie starts.
