Jack-in-the-box

A wonderful day here today - sunny right through and a gently beautiful sunset.

I had a wander around the seafront this morning and took far too many pictures, but while watching some men on this workboat moored at the North Pier I saw a lad disappear into what looked like a metal box, but turned out to be a hatch to the lower deck. I waited for quite a while to see if he popped up again and when he did he caught me by surprise and I almost missed him!
