Christmas triplets

I spotted these dolls in the supermarket this morning. I was immediately transported back to the days when I had specific presents that I had to help Santa to find.There was the latest Lego set, or a particular 'Cabbage Patch' doll, or 'Tiny Tears'( I think she was the one who wet her nappy.) Then there was the year it had to be Lala of Teletubbies fame ,and I saw two women embroiled
in fisticuffs- fighting over the last Lala in the shop.
It's easier now that the children and grandchildren are happy to have clothes or money, but I feel a certain Christmas frisson is missing!
