On the up

I hope that I don't jinx it by saying so, but things are on the up at the moment.

1. The buyer on my late mum's house now has a buyer, so the survey is being done next week.

2. I went to see a maisonette with my brother yesterday and he should be putting in an offer today.

3. My son went back to the orthodontist this morning about private braces (which cost 2-3K around here). All but one of his teeth were perfectly straight two years ago, but they have changed so much that they will now do them on the NHS and he doesn't have to go on the waiting list :)

4. I found 20p on the floor in Costa.

5. My husband and I went on a lovely walk on the farmland behind our village this afternoon. I took a few photos of derelict farm buildings and this is my favourite. I really should blip things on my doorstep a lot more.
