Hi!
A lovely sail into Auckland Harbour this morning followed by ferry ride to Waiheke Island. The island is 92 square kilometres in size. The morning was to consist of a bus ride including morning tea and a visit to two vineyards then return to the ship. The bus journey was very informative and the scenery was enjoyable and relaxing. Today’s blip is of Auckland’s Sky Tower reaching 1,072 feet. The major diameter consists of a glass floor, and above that a rotating restaurant. The glass platform is the launching point where people tethered by cable to the tower, defend to the ground below. And for me, the answer is no!
Additional photo, 25 Sept, last day in South Australia and 5 hays until we are home. The picture is of the beach at Whyalla. The city is the major industrial area in the state, but in less than a kilometre from the industrial centre os this beautiful tranquil beach. Thanks for visiting, will be visiting your blips next Monday with decent internet access.
