Sunset dining

I was a bit slow getting going this morning, having had a bad night. I then had to put some laundry in, so it was about mid morning before we got out for a walk. For a change, we walked to the bay side of the island, and went walking along the shore. After a bit of lunch at our “cottage”, we went to the beach. The water was so still today, and we both enjoyed quite a long swim. The beach was quite quiet this afternoon, and we were the only people in the water. This evening, we had an early dinner, at sunset, at this waterfront restaurant in Cortez, looking across the water to Bradenton Beach, which is just south of Anna Maria Island. It was casual dining - we were sitting at an outdoor “bar”, on bar stools, but the food was good, the fish as fresh as it gets, and you couldn’t beat the view!
