Annual repeat.

Not only do hellebores return annually in the garden they also appear annually in my posts!

I have spent a large part of the day cutting the old leaves away to reveal the buds and flowers of these pretty plants. My customer previously didn't like removing the leaves but, last year, mice ate almost all the buds and removing the leaves also removes the cover the mice hide under, she is now happy with this method.

The first working day of 2019 over with I went home to complete some admin and have found it is taking longer that I would like so will have to continue tomorrow.
