The Richmond Parrot

I started the new Year with a run in the sun – same route as yesterday, but so much better than yesterday, and I went a bit further.  I got home to find that BB had taken to his bed – not feeling well.  Two down! 

However, he got out of his bed late morning and we took him out for some fresh air and exercise as we knew he would be stuck in the car later for our journey home.  Grandad was feeling a little better today, as  the drugs were having a positive effect, but it will be a while before he is back to normal.  He is waiting on a couple of hospital appointments, hopefully that will lead to a way forward for him.

We had lunch and chilled out for a while.  BB had his last chance to play the piano.  We packed the car and headed back up the road.  It was a good journey as the road wasn’t too busy.  The house was freezing and took ages to warm up.

This is the Richmond parrot.  It is part of the Christmas decorations – but we didn’t see it lit up this year.  The electricity must have been cut off.  It looked good against today’s lovely blue sky.
