Or in English....."The Big Chair".....
Had to visit my local library today (slightly threatening text about my books being way over due!!!) and thought I'd take my camera along to take a different Blip!!
So this is the sculpture just outside the door.....it is by the late great Irish sculptor James McKenna.....and I suppose symbolises 'A Big Chair' to sit down and read??
altho' I'm not sure...haven't enquired about that!!!
I really like it ....as I love the library... and do you know (in my opinion anyway)...that all the computers or all the Kindles in the world will never replace the joy of holding and opening a "New Book" to read!!!!
That's my 'rant' for the day and having said all that I will now be able to re-new my books on-line and not be late with them anymore!!!! oh to be that organised!!!!!!..
