Submarine Tour

Today the crew were treated to a tour of the submarine HMS Ocelot (1962). It’s hard to believe that 60 men spent three months living and working onboard. We felt claustrophobic after just 45 minutes with 18 of us!

The photo is from the steering seat showing the sonar panels. I’ve saved you the trauma of the image of the Facilities Manager sat on one of the toilets with his trousers down! He did make us laugh with his prank.

Today was the first day of strike where the film set was derigged, props removed and the location cleaned and reinstated back to how the production found it.

The motto is “Take only pictures, leave only footprints.”
