A grey day for birds

Little boy had a big adventure this morning, a short trip outside, see extra. He is the loveliest of characters but remains wary and nervous in a new or noisy situation. We are delighted with the way he copes with visitors, when our neighbour Nick calls in he is accepted as the norm by the boy.

I’m aware birds and cats don’t go together, a situation that is difficult for us, this one is intrigued when looking out and can see all that flitting but has no idea what it means. His time will come once he’s had the op, we will have to make sure all feeders are out of reach. Our last two boys proved to be poor hunters, apart from voles, for which we were grateful. Sadly I suspect more birds are killed by our windows.
